Progress Post

1. Progress: A movement towards a goal, or a higher place. Improving something.
2. Progressive Era: 1890s to 1920s, caused because "the elimination of problems caused by industrialization, urbanization, immigration, and corruption in the government". It was a "widespread social activism and political reform."
3. Progressives and progressive reforms: They both mean to get something better, to improve or enhance. Progressives are movements towards goals, and progressive reforms are political or social reforms being improved in those aspects.
4. Major Goals:
a) Necessary changes: Work hard, stay truthful and loyal, try your best, and focus
b) Good goals: Go further than what is expected, always do a little more, help others get there
c) Strange goals: Do the minimum amount of effort on everything, be lazy before you work, lie to protect yourself
d) Not a good idea: Never try anything, never do anything, lie no matter what
